The yoga fundamental classes are an introduction to yoga practices starting with Asanas for the body – postures to connect yourself to the physical, pranic and mental body. These movements allow our bodies to release accumulated tensions and tightness thereby creating a free flow of energy. Once the body is open, we work with Pranayama, using the breath as a doorway to the mind – to access deeper levels of the mind for relaxation and expansion of the vital energies of the body.


Yoga Sadhana Ongoing Practice Session

This is an ongoing Yoga Sadhana class for those who have completed the Fundamental course. The learning received in the Fundamental course is deepened here, with the aims of: overcoming physical blocks and developing physical resilience and wellbeing; balance, expansion and upliftment of prana; developing the ability to recognize thoughts and emotions and consciously channel them towards the positive; developing the ability to apply wisdom, the principles of karma yoga and yogic awareness in daily life.

The Sadhanaclasses is also offered in two batches: morning and evening.

  2. Starting on 4th August 2020, Tues, Thurs, Sat– 6.00 to 7.30 pm (the Saturday sessions are from 4.00pm to 5.30pm since the Mahamrityunajya havan takes place in the ashram at 6.30 pm).
