Ashram Life

Ashram is the embodiment of simple living where one can take refuge from the humdrum of daily living.

Ashram life offers a spiritually charged atmosphere to gain insights on life and develop a new vision on life. It allows us the time and space to explore our own essential nature through the process of seva. In this process one gains an understanding into developing a positive attitude and an understanding of selfless service.

Ashram life does not require renunciation or rejection of the world, rather its goal is to change one’s perspective on everyday life.

It is recommended that householders should stay in an ashram for at least 15 days in a year to relax, unwind and re establish a more wholesome perspective on life.

The environment at Atma Darshan Yogashram is conducive to leading a balanced life.

“Karma Yoga is not just selfless service to mankind but should also include the re-definition of your relationship with yourself
