Yoga Teachers Training Course – LIVE, LEARN, TEACH YOGA
Atma Darshan Yogashram is offering a 12 month Yoga Teachers Training Program, commencing in October 2016. The course will be conducted by faculty who have lived Yoga as a lifestyle under the guidance of the Guru in an ashram environment. These teachers have the ability and experience of delivering the wisdom of Yoga in a simple and interesting manner.
Participants will learn, practice and assimilate various aspects of the art, science and lifestyle that is Yoga.
The YTTC (Yoga Teachers’ Training Course) 2017-2018, which will start in October 2017 and continue till October 2018, followed by practical training.

Last date to pay fees is September 25th
The new batch begins on September 30th , Vijayadashami day.
First YTTC weekend is on Saturday, October 14th and Sunday, October 15th.
Highlights of the course
• A well designed program to experience Hatha Yoga, Raja Yoga, Karma Yoga, Jnana Yoga and Bhakti Yoga.
• 12 months (October 2017 – October 2018) : 2 weekends a month (four days : 8.30 a.m. to 3 p.m.) of intensive instruction, theory and practice.
• Practical Training is a mandatory part of the program with hands-on experience for 100 hours, facilitated by highly experienced teachers. The training period will start after October 2018.
• The program is conducted at ADY, in an ashram setting, so students will be immersed in a rich culture of learning, practice and service.
• Workshops and sessions organized with experts in allied health sciences to correlate the benefits and applications of Yoga.
• Visit to the Munger ashram at the culmination of the program.

Yogic Lifestyle Course (residential)
Monday to Saturday
The Yogic lifestyle aims at evolution of the mind that depends primarily on the external world and moves it towards a deeper internal understanding of life. If our happiness and satisfaction, frustration and anxiety depend outcomes we are buffeted by the winds of life’s’ circumstances. When we connect to our inner self through the medium of the yogic lifestyle one is able to achieve complete well-being and a balanced view through all life situations.
This week-long residential program provides an opportunity to spend time in an ashram setting with daily classes in asana, pranayama and meditation. You will also be introduced yogic tools and techniques that you will put into practice during the course of the week. The understanding that you gain allows you to carry these learnings back into your regular lifestyle. The course concludes with Maha Mrutyunjaya Havan on Saturday evenings.

Dhyana – A course in Meditation
Monday to Friday, 6:30 – 7:30 pm
There are many ways of understating meditation, it can be looked as stilling the mind, centering the mind, being one with oneself or being in the moment. As per the Yoga Sutras, meditation is the cessation of the fluctuations of the mind that leads the seer to be established in his or her own true nature, as an unbroken flow of awareness.
The Yogic scriptures say that one needs to practice mediation regularly to manage the mind and the perception of likes and dislikes that arise from it.
The course will teach you a practical way to learn and practice independently. It will also give an insight into the profound practice of mediation. Learn the basics of sitting comfortably, preparing the body for stillness, ways to develop your awareness. As you practice the benefits begin to unfold through the relaxation of the mind and body into an experience of deep inner peace.
Pranayama – The Science of Breath
Monday to Friday, 4 – 5 pm.
In the eight stages of the yogic process, Sage Patanjali placed Pranayama on the cusp between the outer practices and inner practices. Breathing connects our outer and inner world, it is a function that most of us take for granted, that goes on every minute of our existence.
Breathing is more than just the intake of oxygen; when we work with the breath through pranayama we can enhance our prana (vital energy), immunity, efficiency and capability. As one delves deeper into the practice of pranayama, it works to enhance the capacity to gather and purify the Prana for spiritual Sadhana and evolution.
This course will give you an understanding on the theory, practice and application of this life enhancing technique.
Yoga Nidra – Deep Healing Relaxation
Monday to Friday, 1 – 2 pm.
Yoga Nidra is a systematic method of inducing complete physical, mental and emotional relaxation. During the practice, one appears to be asleep, but the consciousness is functioning at a deeper level of awareness. Swami Anand Mangal will guide you through the nuances of this relaxing and rejuvenative practice.
